Keeping children safe is an important priority for Louisa County's Sheriff's Office and Transportation Safety Commisson. In the United States, car crashes are the number one killer of children ages 3 to 14. When coupled with the fact that four out of every five child seats are installed incorrectly by parents and caregivers, we know help is needed.

Weekday appointments are available Monday-Friday, 4-4:30pm, at Louisa County Rescue Squad. Weekend appointments are available 10am-2pm, the second Saturday of every other month, in accordance with the following schedule:

--11  Sep    Louisa County Rescue                                        83 Rescue Lane Louisa, VA

-13  Nov    Holly Grove Rescue                                            115 Factory Mill Road Bumpass,VA

All child seat inspections are by appointment only.
